Upholstery

Where traditional service really does count

Deanswood's in-house craftsmen are renowned for their skills in building bespoke furniture to exacting designs. Re-Upholstering requires traditional skills not easily found in today's modern world.

Soft furnishings are also important, in that cushions, throws, runners and bedspreads come into daily contact with homeowners. Therefore, unless soft furnishings are properly put together with quality materials that are carefully and securely stitched there can be a tendency to early wear and tear!

A designer may find it daunting to specify a much-loved, antique item of family furniture has to be re-upholstered to blend in with a new interior design project. Our experienced upholsterers really do know their job and designers can rest assured - the job will be done to their client's complete satisfaction.

Fabric Walling

Expect the best? - We do!

The special skills needed for fabric walling are not easily seen in the completed job - the careful framing to ensure close fitting around doors, windows light switches and electrical sockets and the pinning of the interlining also play an important part in the overall finish.

Back in the Deanswood workroom the pattern matching and stitching of the fabric also have to be expertly engineered for the fitter to do a great 'on-site' job. Whether the finish is piped, braided or secret fixing - our clients know they can rely on Deanswood Interiors for the ultimate fabric walling finish.
